trustees wanted

If you love animals and understand the vital nature of our rescue work, why not help us to create the future vision for this much valued local Charity?

We would like to find at least two enthusiastic and energetic supporters to join our Board of Trustees.

The Trustees have ultimate responsibility for the operation and development of the Charity, including animal welfare, compliance with charity legislation, fundraising, public relations and financial control.

We need to strengthen our team at a time of intense development and constant financial pressures.

If you have excellent communication skills, business, charity, retail, fundraising, financial or animal welfare experience, and enough spare time to make a real contribution to the organisation then we would love to hear from you. You need to be able to attend monthly board meetings in Earlston, usually on a Monday evening, and to have regular access to email for exchange of documents and information between meetings. This is a voluntary role but reasonable expenses may be paid.

Borders Pet Rescue is a small charity providing an essential community service across the Scottish Borders and adjoining areas. We have ambitious plans and need capable Trustees to help us deliver these plans whilst fully maintaining our existing services. Do you have the enthusiasm and the skills to join our team and make a positive difference to our future?
